VPN
A VPN, or virtual private network, creates a secure digital link between your computer and a remote server operated by a VPN provider. This connection forms an encrypted tunnel that safeguards your personal information, hides your IP address, and allows you to bypass website restrictions and firewalls on the internet, ensuring that your online activities remain private and secure.
A VPN connection is:
- Virtual because it doesn’t rely on physical cables.
- Private because it keeps your data and browsing activity hidden from others.
- Networked because it involves your computer and the VPN server working together to maintain a secure connection.
